Our History

The name "Ruby Anna Acres" holds great significance and a very special place in our hearts, honoring two extraordinary ladies—one of whom left a legacy (and a hole in our hearts) that continues to inspire our family and close friends every day. “Nana,” “Tweet,” “Pineapple,” or Ann, was originally born as Altie with no middle name. Altie, called “Ann” as a nickname, was originally given this name by her father. It stuck, and that was her name to most, with other nicknames along the way.
On November 27, 2007, Mandy and Aubrey Faatz welcomed a baby girl and decided to name her Ruby Anna after Ann, Mandy’s Nana and best friend. Well, Ann, our beloved “Nana,” decided to go a step further and legally changed her name to “Altie Anna” to mirror the name of her cherished new great-granddaughter, Ruby Anna.
Ruby Anna Acres started out of love and family. We have held MANY wonderful parties, holidays, etc., through the years. Knowing how special the property/farm has been to our family, we would love to share it with others. We invite you to celebrate your love story and/or loved ones' special events in a setting that honors tradition, love, and family. Whether you envision an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our amazing team at our family-run venue is committed to ensuring that your special day is nothing short of extraordinary.
Every corner of Ruby Anna Acres has a special meaning to us, and as we continue to grow and evolve, we will bring you many more enchanting areas throughout the Ruby Anna Acres property. We are striving to set the stage for unforgettable moments and memories. We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones to our special place, where we will transform your dream event into cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Meet The Owners

Aubrey and Mandy Faatz have been married for almost 25 years. They have three beautiful children: Jack Henry, Sam, and Ruby Anna, as well as a lovely daughter-in-law, Elaia. Mandy, born Amanda Causey, is a Brunswick County native and the daughter of local pastors Bobby and Jane Causey. Aubrey met Mandy at the Christian school associated with Mandy’s church when they were just 16.
Aubrey is a licensed building contractor, and together, they are the original husband-and-wife team in Brunswick County, owning “Aubrey Faatz Home Crafters, Inc.” and working together in the business.
